Performed a content audit on ventureoutdoors.org site that documented and rated content quality, content value to users, content value to the organization, existing site functionality, and current information architecture structure.
Used a combination of stakeholder interviews and card sorting exercises to uncover the needs of each user type and develop a revised information architecture to met those needs.
Designed low-fidelity wireframes of essential page types. In wireframes, note new functionalities added to meet the needs of users and highlight how the content of each page may change based on their user type and whether they are logged in / out.
As part of implementing the new information architecture and wireframes, documented where pages had been condensed, removed, and added. Created a task list and delegated writing assignments for new content and revising poor quality content. Documented page URL redirects to implement during site launch.
